GOURMAND - STRENGTH 4 This organic Espelette Pepper P.D.O. by La Caravane des Épices is organically grown and certified under IFS and Ecocert standards. Packaged in France, this product is made entirely from natural ingredients. It is in Espelette, in the heart of the Basque Country, that this fruity and slightly spicy chilli pepper has been cultivated for four centuries. Espelette pepper has a Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.) meaning it can only be harvested in ten regions. Due to the agro-climatic conditions,this guarantees a consistent and exceptional quality of pepper. This pepper has a warm flavour without being spicy and is a great way to lightly spice up all your dishes. It can also be used instead of normal pepper at the end of cooking.
Its fruity flavour goes perfectly with salads, sauces or summer vegetables while its sweet side makes it a great addition to chocolate. Goes perfect with dark chocolate, lamb, eggs, tomatoes, chicken, etc.
